Interior Meteorology

This series explores the subtle connections between weather phenomena and human emotions. Each work pairs a meteorological condition with a feeling — not through the obvious clichés of rain as sadness or sunshine as joy, but through more elusive, poetic correspondences.

The pieces live within spherical structures derived from Giacometti’s Palace at 4 a.m., each sphere holding a moving and sounding mechanism that embodies its chosen pair. The names of the works draw from meteorological statistics, anchoring the poetic to real data and moments in time.

At the center of the constellation is The Meteorologist, a video that shifts from mood to mood. With each change, it activates a different piece, setting the entire series into motion as an emotional-weather system of its own.
